Hello, and welcome to The Market Blend…

The goal of this site is to make you a wiser and more able networker and entrepreneur. This blog is where I will post some of the resources and tips that I am learning on my journey as a network marketer and entrepreneur.

Networking is serious business, whether you are a network marketer or another type of entrepreneur. I am convinced that one’s ability to network with other people can mean life or death for a company. Unfortunately, some people shy away from network marketing because of the stereotypes and stigmas about it. Those people are missing out, not just on another stream of income, they are quite possibly missing out on creating quality friends as well as a wealth of business and relational knowledge.

This site is called The Market Blend for a few reasons. Firstly, I think that network marketers need to start taking advantage of the biggest trend to hit in our lifetimes – the internet. I also believe that taking advantage of the internet means more than your business opportunity having an online presence; it means you the networker need to begin to take advantage of the internet for your personal business.

Secondly, I believe that networking marketing businesses, or mlms as they are often called, are only one of many streams of income! After being around networking marketing companies for about five years, I realize that these opportunities are often promoted as being the absolute best business anyone could be in. It is often implied that independent representatives really don’t need anything else except “the business”. This is true and it is false. There are other things out there besides network marketing that can be equally fulfilling, residual, and fun. Yet, network marketing is a fantastic opportunity and can be quite rewarding itself.

Personally, I choose both… and choosing both is what this site is about. I call it blending – blending the best of everything together to build a rewarding, financially free, and exciting life.
